总的说来，Quay, pier, jetty 都表示具体的码头，真正有那么一个河岸，桥墩，突出物可以让船靠泊的地方；berth，dock, terminal 与前三项相比就比较抽象，berth指的是能容船靠泊的空间; dock指两码头之间可停船的空间，但更多指船坞；terminal, 则表示终点站，终到港.具体意义及用法如下：quay
