“枫桥夜泊”诗碑中文
碑正面镌刻唐朝诗人张继著名的“枫桥夜泊”诗，为光绪三十二年（1906年）由清代学者俞樾所书。碑后是俞樾的短文，碑侧为清江苏巡抚陈夔龙的题跋。原碑竖于苏州寒山寺，因日本军人对此碑情有独钟，1937年12月南京沦陷后，伪御用文人江亢虎为讨好日军，于1939年3月将寒山寺原碑在此复制。
“枫桥夜泊”诗碑英文
This is the stone tablet with the well-known poem "Mooring by 'Maple' Bridge at Night" carved on the front of it, which was written by the famous poet Zhang Ji of Tang dynasty. The poem was inscribed in 1906 by Yu Yue, a famous scholar of the late Qing dynasty. And Yu also wrote a short epitaph inscribed on the back of the tablet. The Jiangsu Provincial Govenor Chen Kuilong's inscription was on both sides of the tablet. The original poem tablet was erected at the Han Shan Temple in Suzhou. The one here is a reproduction by the reactionary scholar Jiang kanghu in March 1939 after Nanjing was occupied by Japanese troops, to curry favor with some Japanese armymen who admired the original tablet very much when they saw it.
