应林堂

应林堂坐落于香港中文大学崇基书院的应林堂建于1958年，是香港中文大学历史最悠久的建筑之一。作为崇基书院第一座男生宿舍，为了纪念书院第一位院长李应林，该宿舍被命名为应林堂。

应林堂是香港中文大学第一座正式的学生宿舍，到现在为止，它也是崇基书院唯一一座纯男生宿舍。该宿舍的宿生一向以积极、团结、不屈不挠的品质著称；但同时一些人认为他们很粗鲁。不论真相是什么，该宿舍所拥有的很多令人惊奇的特点让它成为校园中最让人难忘的宿舍。

Locating in the Chung Chi College, Ying Lin Tang was established in 1958 and is one of the oldest building in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Formerly known as the "Chung Chi First Male Dormitory", it is later named as "Ying Lin Tang", in memory of the first College President, Ying Lin LEE.

Ying Lin Tang is the first official student dormitory in the University, and it remains to be the only male hall in Chung Chi College. The residents here are always regarded as active, united, indomitable; while some may say they are rugged, bold and stinky because of its nature as a male dormitory. Whatever the truth is, there are a number of astonishing features in this hall which makes it the most memorable and striking hall in the campus.
