else 和other区别

other是修饰名词，位于名词之前。

else是修饰不定代词(something，everything，somebody，nobody等)，疑问代词(who，which，what等)和疑问副词(when，where等)，必须位于这些词之后，与other的位置恰好相反。else的例子如下(1)The company offered the job to someone else.公司把这工作给别人了。

（2）I 'd rather he was married to somebody else.我宁愿他同别的人结婚。other的例子如下(1)Where's my other glove?我的那只手套在哪儿?(2)John and the others are here.约翰和其他人都在这儿。
